Can people change? I don’t know. People are who they are. Give or take 15%. That’s how much people can change if they really want to. Weather it is for themselves or the people they love. 15%. You know what, sometimes, that’s just enough. - the Tv Show; Modern family, Fifteen percent

Cut out from the Word for Today
Between praying for a miracle and getting one, you’ll be tested, you’ll grow, and you’ll learn to trust God more than you ever thought possible. When you share your experiences with others don’t just tell how you started or where you are today; instead, tell them what God brought you through, for those are the very things they’re struggling with too. Tell them how...

this is a love poem.
pilgrimsoulinme: Love isn’t always deep. It’s ok that love is filled with apostrophes and slang and “uhms” and hanging participles. It’s totally cool that love finds medium in cliches and Hallmark cards, because like this dumb poem, love can be stupid dumb sometimes. But that’s why we love falling in love, because it’s really just too hard to be perfect— all the time.

I am convinced that everyone - no exception - can be motivated to learn. But not at the same time, and by the same person, and not in the same way. The timing is crucial

Most days, I try to post motivational words or “God’s” word on my wall. I keep posting not because I am perfect or I have figured it all out yet, I do because of totally the opposite. I have not figured it out and I am not perfect. I rely on HIS perfection. I remind myself of HIS mercies, HIS grace and above all HIS love that fails not.

Are you struggling with the old names people called you and the old images you have of yourself? Nothing will change in your life until it first changes in your mind. Hear this: you are who God says you are, not who others say you are! If God didn’t give you the name, it’s not yours. Only believe what God says about you.  God sees you as a new creation, so start thinking, talking and...

silentlyexposed: Remember me. Remember me like the seasons In its stability and unpredictability. Remember me as the faint summer air As autumn washes over its presence Fading the sunlight, the hours spent in warmth. As the leaves collapse beneath your heavy feet Beneath your heavy soul Remember me as I once was And grasp these memories tight Because in time, I too will begin to                 ...

Only when you accept failure as final, are you finally a failure. Any time you learn from failure, you’ve taken a step towards success.
